The Regional Training Center for Water Resources and Irrigation concluded the training courses held during the week from May 12 to 16, 2024, as follows: ⭕️ Conclusion of programs at the main headquarters of the Training Center (6th of October City): ✳️ Water Needs Assessment ✳️ Strategic Planning ✳️ Civil Service Law 81 ✳️ Additionally, the second week of the training program implemented within the activities of the Water Knowledge Project Smart Water Resources Management for Agriculture was concluded. ⭕️ Conclusion of programs at the center’s branch in the Administrative Capital: ✳️ Critical Thinking ✳️ Conflict Management ✳️ Water Resources and Irrigation Law 147 and its Executive Regulations ✳️ The second week of the training program Shore Protection Engineering, which continues for four weeks, two days each week. ⭕️ Conclusion of programs at the center’s branches: ✳️ Diagnosis and Maintenance of Heavy Equipment/ Hydraulic Equipment/ Injection and Drilling Machines (at the Isna branch) ✳️ Public Procurement Law 182 (at the Minya branch) ✳️ TOT for Water Distribution Pioneers (at the Fayoum branch) ⭕️ Conclusion of programs via the Regional Training Center’s educational platform: ✳️ Applications of Artificial Intelligence in Water Resources Management ✳️ GIS Data Acquisition and Map Design The courses varied between technical, administrative, and personal skills and targeted employees of different categories within the sectors and departments of the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. Each trainee received a certificate of completion for their respective training course.
