In the framework of capacity building, skill development, and promoting sustainable water resources management, and in collaboration with the CIHEAM Bari Mediterranean Agronomic Institute through the activities of the Egyptian-Italian Water Knowledge project, the training program (Conjunctive Use and Management of Ground and Surface Water: A focus on Water Harvesting) started this week via the platform of the Regional Training Center. This program aims to enhance the technical capabilities of water management professionals in Egypt, including engineers and water specialists. The program will continue over four weeks, from May 19 to June 13, with the participation of 26 trainees from the Ministries of Irrigation, Agriculture, and Environment. In the first week, the program will cover: ✳️ Introduction to agriculture water management ✳️ On-farm WEFE (Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystem) ✳️ Precision irrigation scheduling ✳️ Salinity management
