In line with the strategy of the Regional Training and Water Studies Center for exchanging international expertise in the field of training and expanding the building of bridges of cooperation with relevant international organizations and institutions, today, Professor Dr. Salwa Abu Al-Ala, Head of the Center, signed a cooperation agreement between the Regional Training Center and the Finnish Water Forum. The agreement was signed on the Finnish side by Mr. Karim Ali, Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa for the Finnish Water Forum, in the presence of the center's team. The agreement includes the implementation of a series of training programs in the field of water resources management and irrigation. These programs target approximately 80 engineers from the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation for training in the following areas: ✳️ Smart water solutions ✳️ Sustainable and integrated water resources management ✳️ Circular economy ✳️ Water safety The activities of these programs are scheduled to begin in October 2024, with the participation of experts and lecturers from several Finnish universities in these fields, such as: 🌐 Savonia University 🌐 Metropolia University 🌐 HAMK University 🌐 Laurea University
