The training program titled "Pioneers' Knowledge Transfer Program on Water Resources and Irrigation Law 147 TOT" commenced today at the General Directorate of Training in Esna. The program runs from Sunday, August 18th, until Thursday, August 22nd, 2024. This program targets 40 trainees from the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. It includes an introduction to the Water Resources and Irrigation Law and its executive regulations, as well as the public properties of the state, the protection of water structures, and penalties for encroachments on them. The program covers several topics in detail: ⚡ Water resources, public properties, and related private works ⚡ Rights of utilization of irrigation and drainage sources and methods ⚡ Water distribution management and organization, water intake points, drainage outlets, and water user associations ⚡ Development and improvement of irrigation and drainage systems, irrigation and drainage of modern lands, protection of the Nile River, groundwater, and well licensing ⚡ Protection of water resources, structures, and shores (management and protection of marine shores, protection from the dangers of rain and floods, penalties, and explanation and discussion of the executive regulations).
