RTSWRI works under the auspices of UNESCO

RTSWRI has been under the auspices of UNESCO since 2002 as one of the category II centers. The Convention is updated periodically every 6 years. The latest updated of the agreement was in 2015 to continue until 2021. In this regard, the sector targeted the African countries, in particular the Nile Basin countries, as well as the Arid and semi-arid region, in particular the Arab countries.
